1. Unbox and Inspect
Check that your Trezor packaging is sealed and untampered. All devices are shipped with tamper-evident holograms. If anything looks off, stop and contact Trezor Support.
2. Go to Trezor.io/start
Open this page on a secure computer or smartphone. Click on your model and download Trezor Suite, the official desktop or browser app to manage your device.
3. Install Trezor Suite
Install the software, connect your device, and follow the on-screen instructions. You'll be guided through:
- Installing firmware (if required)
- Creating a new wallet or recovering an existing one
- Generating your recovery seed (a 12- or 24-word backup phrase)
4. Set a PIN
